Reference: Gauge and Meter Chart Settings

Appearance Settings

Section	Field	Description
General	Name	The title of the chart. Character limit: 50.
General	Show in Presentation Mode
Data Labels	Font	The font type and color for label text on the horizontal axis. This setting formats the data value only, not the tick marks.
Layout	Display	Select how to display the data: Value : Numeric value. Variance : Numeric value of the variance between the reference and the comparison that you define in the Reference Value , Comparison Value , and Variance sections. Variance Percent : Percentage of the variance between the reference and the comparison that you define in the Reference Value , Comparison Value , and Variance sections.
Layout	Style	Gauge : Displays only the minimum and maximum values. Meter : Displays tick marks at equal intervals between the minimum and maximum values.
Scale	Autoscaling	Available only when you select Variance or Variance Percent for the Display option. On: Default. Auto scaling is on. Off: Set scaling manually. Also set the minimum value and maximum value.
Scale	Minimum	Available only when you select Value for the Display option or when you've turned off the Autoscaling option.
Scale	Maximum	Available only when you select Value for the Display option or you have turned off the Autoscaling option.

Reference/Comparison Value	Timeline	Select the time period for the variance to reference: Current : The same as the Time settings of the chart. Previous : A number of periods before the current time. Next : A number of periods after the current time. Trailing : A number of past periods, including the current period. Leading : A number of future periods, including the current period.

Time Settings

General	Pin Time (blue)	Set a fixed time period based on the selected strata. Example: For Stratum select: Month . Then, for: Single Period spans, set a specific date. Example: May 2017. Range spans, select the start and end dates. Example: May 2017 to June 2017.
General	Unpin Time (gray)	Set time relative to the reference period displayed on the perspective toolbar and based on the selected strata. Current : Matches the date selected for the perspective. Backwards : Adjusts backward from the perspective date by the number that you enter. Forwards : Adjusts forward from the perspective date by the number that you enter. For Single Period time spans, set the relative time for the chart. For Range time spans, set the relative time for the start and end of the range.
