Reference: Column Properties for Cube Sheets

The canvas rows correspond to columns, rows, and filters on the sheet. The canvas always includes time, accounts, and levels. You can also add custom dimensions and attributes. Each row type in the canvas has different settings. Click an item from the canvas to view and change the settings.

Time Properties

Option	Description
Initial Balance	Indicates that cumulative accounts on the sheet have an initial balance column to seed the account.
Month, Quarter, Year	Indicates the time and time rollups that display on the sheet for the time dimension. The options are based on your calendar setup and the time strata setting in the sheet settings.

Account Properties

Option	Description
Export	Exports current account availabilities to a spreadsheet. Make bulk changes to the structure and settings. Then, import the changes using the Import option.
Import	Downloads a blank spreadsheet template. Make account availability changes in the template. Then, import the spreadsheet.
Cube account structure with check boxes	Indicates account availability in sheet. Click the check boxes to add accounts to or remove accounts from the sheet. Select at least 1 account.

Level Properties

Option	Description
Export	Exports current level availabilities to a spreadsheet. Make bulk changes to the structure and settings. Then, import the changes using the Import option.
Import	Download a blank spreadsheet template. Make level availability changes in the template. Then, import the spreadsheet.
Level structure with check boxes	Indicates level availability in sheet. Click the check boxes to add levels to or remove levels from the sheet. To display the total value of levels in rows, select the parent levels, too. If you use level-based security, for level-assigned sheets, only users assigned to the checked levels can open the sheet. Dimension Properties

Option	Description
Edit dimension on sheet	Enables team members to add values and change the values of the dimension from the sheet.
Immediately available in sheet	Indicates that new dimension values automatically becomes available on the sheet.
Unavailable in sheet	Indicates that new dimension values don't become available on the sheet.
Only available if parent is available in sheet	Applies to hierarchical dimensions only. Indicates that new child dimension values only becomes available on the sheet if the parent value is already on the sheet.

Import	Download a blank spreadsheet template. Make dimension value availability changes in the template. Then, import the spreadsheet.
Dimension structure with check boxes	Indicates dimension value availability in sheet. Click the check boxes to add values to or remove values from the sheet. To display the total values of custom dimensions in rows, select the root dimension. Removing dimension values that have associated data deletes the associated data.

Attribute Properties

Option	Description
Immediately available in sheet	Indicates that anytime anyone adds new attribute values automatically becomes available on the sheet.
Unavailable in sheet	Indicates that new attribute values don't become available on the sheet.
Only available if parent is available in sheet	Applies to hierarchical attributes only. Indicates that new child attribute values become available on the sheet if the parent value is already on the sheet.
