Change the Default Time Strata

The default time strata is the strata where you enter data for general ledger, custom, and assumption accounts in standard sheets. By default, cube and modeled sheets also display data at the default strata.
If you change the default time strata after you create and populate your sheets with data, you must first erase all standard data, cell notes, and audits.
Standard sheets can contain accounts of different time strata, but they display data at the highest time strata of all of the accounts they contain. If your standard sheets contain a mix of week, month, and quarter accounts, then the sheet displays at using quarter.
  1. Select
    Modeling
     from the main menu.
  2. Click
    Time
    .
  3. From the
    Delete
     drop-down menu, select
    Erase Standard Data
    .
    When you delete standard data, you don't delete:
    • Shared formulas.
    • Metric formulas.
    • Account formulas.
  4. Select your new
    Default Time Stratum
    .
The default strata in the
Strata Rollup
 section, has a
Default
 label and an icon.
