Create Versions in Sales Planning

Create Versions in Sales Planning

  • Security:
    • Versions
       permission.
    • Access Dashboards
       permission
You can create new versions directly within sales planning dashboards without navigating to
Versions
 area of
Modeling
.
  1. Select
    Dashboards
     from the main menu.
  2. Open your sales planning dashboard.
  3. Click the version drop-down and then click
    New Version
    .
  4. Enter a name for the new version that is unique across Adaptive Planning.
    Avoid using emojis in names.
  5. Enter a description to make it easy for others to understand the purpose of the version.
  6. (Optional) Select a version to copy from. You can't copy actuals or virtual versions.
The page updates to the new version and the version drop-down displays the new version name.
You can edit versions by selecting
Modeling
 from the main navigation menu. Then click
Versions
.
