To link a table from for Excel to for PowerPoint, define the table as a named range.
A
named range
is a user-defined area of cells, rows, or columns in an Excel file. With a named range, you can perform operations on that area as a whole.Example: You can jump quickly to the named range from wherever you are in the workbook. Also, you can copy a named range from for Excel and link it in a PowerPoint slide.
Within a named range, you can move or change data, and add or delete rows or columns. The named range maintains its integrity as a single object. Any changes you make to the named range in Excel, reflect in PowerPoint as soon as you refresh the presentation.
