Field
Description
Label
Sets the name for the element as it displays in the report. The field appears for all calculation elements.
Code
Sets a code for reference purposes. For example, use the code to refer to the element in a custom calculation formula. The field appears for all calculation elements.
Display As
Sets the format for displaying the result. Select one:
  • Account's display type. Displays the result as a number or percent based on the Display As setting for the account under Modeling. Available for all elements except GL accounts.
  • Value. Displays the percent values as numbers. For example, 5% shows as 0.05.
  • Percent. Displays the number and currency values as percentages. For example, 5 shows as 500%.
The field appears only for the Difference and Custom calculation elements. The Account's display type property does not apply to a Difference calculation.
Reverse Sign
Changes the sign of the result from negative to positive or the reverse. For example, you can show a negative variance as a positive result for an Expense account.
The option appears only for the Difference and Custom calculation elements. Also, it is available for only non-accounts calculations such as versions or time. When selected, reverses the sign of expenses, contra revenue, liabilities, equities, and contra assets.
Difference Options
Sets which elements represent the following factors in a difference calculation:
  • The number to subtract
  • The number from which to subtract
The field appears only for the Difference calculation element.
Connected to Parameter
Indicates whether the Difference element is connected to a report parameter. When the report parameter changes, the variance data also changes.
The field appears only for the Difference calculation element.
