Workday delivers release notes to keep you informed about:
  • New, coming soon, and retiring features.
  • Bug fixes.
Workday publishes release notes to the Release Center every Wednesday and Friday before Service Updates. We recommend that you visit the Release Center on a weekly basis to stay informed before, during, and after the feature release window.
We label release notes with a release number based on the Production Date.
Examples: We use the 2025R1 label for any feature delivering to Production tenants in week 11 in 2025, until the 2025R2 production release.
