Example: Integrate Career Interests into Guided Experience Employee Reviews

This example illustrates how to integrate Career Interests into employee review templates configured to use Guided Experience.
Workday doesn't support the
Career
section in employee review templates configured to use Guided Experience. However, you can set up your employee review business process to lead your workers to enter Career Interests in the Career Profile.
  1. Access the
    Configure Employee Review Template
task to create the employee review template for the performance review.
    1. Click
      Edit
      and select the
      Use Guided Experience
      option in the
      Default Editor Option
      field.
  2. Access the
    Maintain Feature Opt-Ins
    report.
Opt in to the Career Profile.
    Security:
    Set Up: System
domain in the System functional area.
  3. Access the
    Configure Career Profile
    task and set up the
    Interests
    section.
  4. Edit the
    Start Performance Review
    business process definition.
    Create a new
    To Do
    business process step
    Edit Career Profile
that leads the employee to the
    Edit Career Profile
    task after the
    Complete Self Evaluation
    and
    Complete Manager Evaluation
    steps.
  5. Configure the other sections besides
    Career
that you want to include in the template.
When your employees complete their performance review, Workday directs them to enter their career interests in the Career Profile.
