Troubleshooting: All Imported Time Clock Events Unmatched
You imported the:
- Time clock events while the period was locked or closed.
- Same time clock events twice.
Delete a small number of unmatched time clock events:
Security: Configure the
Worker Data: View/Edit Time Clock Events
domain in the Time Tracking functional area.- Access theTime Clock Historyreport for the worker.
- Select aStart Datethat includes the week of the unmatched events.
- Delete the unmatched events.
Delete a large number of unmatched time clock events using the Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB):
To delete multiple time clock events, you must have their unique Time Clock Event IDs. Otherwise, follow the steps for deleting a small number of unmatched events.

domain in the Integration functional area.- (Optional) Access theMaintain Invalid Time Clock Eventstask to check for errors and see the volume of unprocessed and unmatched time clock events.
- Access theCreate EIBtask.SelectInbound.
- On theGet Datapage, in theData Formatsection, from theWeb Service Operationprompt, selectPut Time Clock Events (Web Service).Accept the default settings.
- On theView Integration Systemreport, from the related actions menu of the EIB, select .SelectConfirm.
- On theView Background Processreport, clickRefresh.Download the empty Put_Time_Clock_Events.xlsx spreadsheet from theOutput Filestab.
- In the spreadsheet, enter the time clock event data you want to delete. Use only the first 4 columns of the spreadsheet.ColumnDescriptionSpreadsheet KeyDetermines how many entries Workday batches for each job. We recommend that you batch together 1,000 time block entries per job. Example: Use1for the first 1,000 rows and2for the next 1,000 rows.Row IDAn incremental value for each row. Example: Use1for the first row,2for the second row, and3for the third row.Time Clock Event IDEach time clock event has a unique ID. You must enter the ID to delete the event.Delete Time Clock EventEnterYto indicate that you want to delete the time block.
- Access theLaunch / Schedule Integrationtask.From theIntegrationprompt, selectPut TCE.Security:Process: Time Clock Integrationdomain in the Time Tracking functional area.
- OnSchedule an Integration, in theIntegration Attachmentrow, from theValueprompt, selectCreate Integration Attachment.Attach the completed spreadsheet.
- (Optional) To verify that no errors or unmatched time clock events remain, access theMaintain Invalid Time Clock Eventstask.
