Steps: Set Up Academic Foundation

Academic foundation comprises components and processes you use throughout Workday Student.
  1. Define the structure of your institution from an academic perspective.
  2. Set up the programs of study your institution offers and assign them to a program area.
  3. Create academic calendars.
  4. Create eligibility rules to determine student eligibility for various processes across Workday Student.
  5. (Optional) Create educational taxonomy schemes and codes that you can use in addition to CIP codes.
