- Academic period types.
- Security:Setup: Curriculum Managementdomain in the Student Records functional area.
You can create meeting patterns that reflect the standard days and times to offer courses and activities at your institution. Assign these patterns to course sections and activity offerings to enable:
- Scheduling.
- Students to plan and schedule their classes and activities.
- Access theMaintain Meeting Day Patternstask.Complete the task:OptionDescriptionSort OrderSpecify the order of meeting day patterns that you want to display in Workday.Recurring Every # of WeeksEnter the frequency of your meeting day pattern. Example: Enter:
- 1 for theT/Th Weeklymeeting day pattern that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week.
- 2 for theM/W/F Biweeklymeeting day pattern that meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays every other week.
- Access theMaintain Meeting Patternsreport.ClickCreateto create standard meeting patterns.
- Access theView Academic Calendarreport.To assign meeting patterns to an academic period type, select from the related actions menu of itsPeriod Type on Calendar.
You can now assign standard meeting patterns to course sections and activity offerings when they occur within your selected academic period types.
