Create Custom Notifications for Mass Drop Registrations

  • Configure notification delivery settings for business processes that enable Workday to deliver emails immediately.
  • Create a notification template for dropped registrations and configure it to be active for custom business process notifications.
  • Security: These domains in the System functional area:
    • Business Process Administration
      .
    • Manage: Business Process Definitions
      .
You can create custom notifications that automatically notify students when you initiate these business processes:
  • Mass Drop Registration for Non-Payment
     using the
    Mass Drop Registrations for Non-Payment
     task.
  • Pre-Requisite Failure Mass Drop Registrations Event
     using the
    Mass Drop Invalid Student Registrations
     task.
Custom notifications alert students when you drop them from a course. You can also add additional information, such as the drop reason and what their next steps should be.
  1. From the related actions menu of these business processes, select
    Business Process
    Add Notification
    :
    • Mass Drop Registration for Non-Payment
      .
    • Pre-Requisite Failure Mass Drop Registrations Event

  2. As you complete the task, consider:
