Considerations
Driver sorting
Controls the standard sorting of drivers for all dashboards. The recommended option is sorting by focus area, however you can also sort by score or difference to benchmark.
Regardless of the option you select, managers can sort by all 3 options on their dashboards. The dashboard will revert to the option you selected with every new session.

Overall scores
Controls whether the overall score for any dashboard should display in average or NPS mode.
Regardless of the option you select, managers can switch between the 2 modes on their dashboards. The dashboard will revert to the option you selected with every new session.
When selecting NPS as the score mode, the main engagement question will use the standard eNPS terminology. All other questions will use NPS terminology.
Score aggregation for drivers
Controls whether the dashboard should base a driver score on all its core and subdriver questions.
Example: Autonomy has the core question, a Flexibility subdriver question, and a Remote Work subdriver question.
Average mode first calculates the overall Autonomy score per employee with their response to each of the 3 questions. It then averages all overall scores to get the team Autonomy score.
Separate mode works on a per driver or subdriver basis. To get the overall Autonomy score, it only uses the latest score on the main question, per employee.
The data visibility window applies regardless of the setting that you select.
We recommend using aggregate mode, because:
  • You can focus on the driver score as a measurement of a concept.
  • Giving weighting to all questions within a driver decreases score variability, with less extreme values and changes.
  • The driver score is less sensitive to subdriver question customization.
It's possible to deactivate the main driver question, while leaving its subdriver questions on. When using aggregate mode, this configuration can lead to the driver and subdriver both appearing as focus areas, even though their scores come from the same question.
