Example: Sync Future Separation Data

This example illustrates how to create a calculated field in Workday to sync future termination dates and reasons to Peakon. Separation dates and reasons only sync to Peakon on the day of the business process. You can set up calculated fields and enable them to be synced ahead of time. This can be done for both permanent and contingent workers.
When you sync Workday employees with separation dates in the future, you'll notice that Peakon doesn't populate their separation dates and they will remain categorized as effective employees. The separation dates and separation reasons are included in the sync on their effective date (the day of the termination or separation).
