Create an Option Type Attribute

group types.You can create option type attributes to set up lists with multiple fixed values. Example:
Business Unit attribute with

- Name the attribute and save changes.
You can add segment options to the attribute manually. Every segment you add will display as an
option on the attribute field on employee records.
It’s also possible to create segments using an Excel file, when you upload employee
record data. Peakon automatically creates a new segment for every new value (case
sensitive) in the column that has a matching name with the Peakon attribute. Anyone
with access to upload employee data can create new segments under existing
attributes. If you want to prevent Peakon from creating segments through data
upload, set
Segments from imported data
to Don't
automatically create segments
in the settings of the attribute.The column name and attribute name on Peakon must be an exact match. If an exact
match isn’t possible, you can add an
Alias
in the settings of
the attribute, or you can rename the attribute on Peakon.
