Example: Backdating an Individual Employee's Segment Value
This example contains instructions on how to backdate a segment value for an individual employee
directly on Peakon. Please note, backdating a single employee should only take place if
they were in the wrong segment by mistake. Backdating a single employee can be a risk to
confidentiality, as it brings over historical scores and comments just for that
employee.
An employee that originally worked in France has recently relocated to work in Germany. The
office location of the employee is still France on Peakon, because the change wasn’t
in the data file you uploaded. Your organization has conducted several survey rounds
since the change.
You need to move set
Office Location
segment to Germany with a
validity date of 1st January 2022 to rectify the mistake for this employee.- Go to .
- Search for the employee, and open their employee record.
- SetOffice LocationtoGermany.
- Click the small clock icon next to theOffice Locationattribute.
- Select theCustom dateoption.
- Set it to 1st January 2022.
- ClickSave changes.
Any survey data or participation after 1st January from the employee will move from the France
segment to the Germany segment. Any survey data or participation before this date
remains in the France segment until it falls out of the visibility window.
