This table describes updates to the User Guide within the past year. We update the User Guide when new features impact the product user interface and when editorial changes improve content quality.

This page is intended to be a summary of content changes in the User Guide, and is not a full list of new features. If a new feature results in a change to only the Administrator Guide content, that change isn't described here.

To find complete information about new features, you can run the What's New in Workday report on your Workday system if you have access to the report.

Date	Notable Content Changes
April 2023	Clarified that when sharing Drive items, the recipient of the share might need additional permissions beyond Drive permissions. Example: To view a Worksheets workbook, the sharing recipent needs access to the Worksheets application.
March 2023	Workday 2023R1 base version. No notable changes.
September 2022	Workday 2022R2 base version. Added information on: How Help articles are affected when you rename or replace files. Item and folder storage, limits, and more, in the FAQ topic.
July 2022	Transitioned the Workday User Guide from PDF to HTML format. Added information about the Replace File action.
March 2022	Workday 2022R1 base version. Added information on: Renaming packaged content files. Downloading and copying videos and packaged content. Selecting a destination for copied items. Customizing your navigation pane.
