Steps: Configure Staging Tables and Columns for Salesforce Data Sources

Steps: Configure Staging Tables and Columns for Salesforce Data Sources

  • Import your Salesforce structure.
  • Security:
    • Integration Operator
      permission.
    • Data Designer
      permission.
  1. Go to
    Integration
    Design Integrations
    .
  2. From the
    Data Sources
section, select your Salesforce data source.
  3. Drag and drop the tables that you want to import from the
    Data Components
    section to the
    Tables To Import
    section.
Each table that you drag and drop adds a new tab.
  4. (Optional) On the drop-down menu of each table tab, select
    Manage Columns
and change which columns from the tables to import.
You can't restrict your data source from importing system-generated fields. Example: isDeleted.
  5. (Optional) On the drop-down menu of each table tab, select
    Table Settings
    Enter SQL Filter
and enter a SQL expression that filters or formats the data import.
Use this data import filter to create an additional level of staging data control. We apply this filter to the actual data in the database, not the preview data in the staging area.
Not all data source types support the same level of SQL filtering.
  6. (Optional) Use the drop-down menu of each column header of your tables to change column properties or delete columns.
On the
Actions
section, import your data.
