Steps: Configure Staging Tables and Columns for Salesforce Data Sources
- Import your Salesforce structure.
- Security:
- Integration Operatorpermission.
- Data Designerpermission.
- Go to .
- From theData Sourcessection, select your Salesforce data source.
- Drag and drop the tables that you want to import from theData Componentssection to theTables To Importsection.Each table that you drag and drop adds a new tab.
- (Optional) On the drop-down menu of each table tab, selectManage Columnsand change which columns from the tables to import.You can't restrict your data source from importing system-generated fields. Example: isDeleted.
- (Optional) On the drop-down menu of each table tab, select and enter a SQL expression that filters or formats the data import.Use this data import filter to create an additional level of staging data control. We apply this filter to the actual data in the database, not the preview data in the staging area.Not all data source types support the same level of SQL filtering.
- (Optional) Use the drop-down menu of each column header of your tables to change column properties or delete columns.
- (Optional) Create Advanced Filters for Staging Tables.
On the
Actions
section, import your data.
