Steps: Set Up Payment Elections

  • Review setup considerations for payment elections.
  • Set up settlement, including payment types.
  • Set up currencies.
  • Assign pay groups to users for Payroll or Payroll Interface.
You can define rules and set options for your payroll payment elections.
  1. Define choices for receiving payments.
  5. Set up the
    Payment Election Enrollment Event
     business process.
    (Optional) To include prenote verification for bank accounts, you can:
    • Add a service step before the completion step, and
    • Specify
      Prenote of Worker Bank Accounts if New or Changed
      .
  6. Configure security on the
    Manage Payment Elections
     initiating action step.
    Add these security groups:
    • Employee as Self
    • Pre-Employee as Self
  7. On the
    Onboarding
     business process, add
    Manage Payment Elections
     as an action step.
Based on your defined payment elections and rules, you and people who are eligible for self-service payment elections can:
  • Set up payment elections.
  • Select from the enabled payment types, countries, and currencies.
