Steps: Enable Quick Tasks on the People Experience Home Page

You can enable machine learning to display the
Quick Tasks
 section on the Home page. Ensure you're not in a proxy session.
Quick Tasks
 isn't supported for proxying. This section displays tasks based on:
  • Trends occurring across tenants.
  • User activity in Production tenants.
Example: Many users request time off across tenants in December, indicating that the
Request Time Off
 task should display in this section.
  1. On the
    Innovation Services And Data Selection Opt-In
     task, select
    User Experience Machine Learning
     from the
    Service
     tab in the
    People Experience
     category.
  2. Access the
    Edit Tenant Setup - Machine Learning
     task.
    Select the region in which Workday hosts data contributed to Machine Learning Development Environment (MLDE).
    Security:
    Set Up: Tenant Setup - Machine Learning
     in the System functional area.
When you enable the
Quick Tasks
 section for the first time, the machine learning model takes up to 4 weeks to train using your data. After those initial 4 weeks, Workday displays recommendations in the
Quick Tasks
 section.
Sign out and back in to your tenant for Workday to display the
Quick Tasks
 section on your employees' Home page.
