Concept: Highlighted Comments
The Workday Peakon Employee Voice (WPEV) algorithm highlights the most important comments based
on relevance and actionability. Highlighted comments enable managers to work through a
large volume of comments more easily.
Highlighted Comments Algorithm
WPEV algorithms increase the ranking of actionable feedback to each manager using:
- Very low or high scores on the question associated with the comment.
- Direct advice or prescriptive comments (English only). Example: Comments containing the wordsshouldandcouldrank higher because they suggest a solution-oriented comment.
- Comments containing around 140 characters. Very short and very long comments register a lower ranking because they don't tend to focus on solutions.
- WPEV treats older comments as less relevant than newer comments.
