Concept: Comment Acknowledgments

Concept: Comment Acknowledgments

Acknowledging feedback from employees is a significant driver of participation in survey rounds. We've found that the quality of feedback that employees submit improves when acknowledgments demonstrate that leadership is listening to feedback.
When comments display on dashboards or in the
Comments
section, managers can respond by clicking Acknowledge and selecting 1 of 5 standard responses:
  • Great idea.
  • Thanks for sharing.
  • I agree.
  • Working on it.
  • Would love to talk in person.
When survey rounds close, managers with access can still acknowledge, respond to comments, and interact with comments from past rounds.
Employees that receive an acknowledgment receive automated, no-reply emails with 1 of the acknowledgments selected. Acknowledgments also display in personal dashboards.
Managers can't cancel an acknowledged comment.
Employees can't reply to an acknowledgment.
Managers can still acknowledge comments for employees who complete the survey through kiosk mode and have no email address on record. However, such employees can't receive email notifications for the acknowledgments.

Filter Acknowledged Comments

Managers can view acknowledged comments on the
Comments
page and filter for
Only comments I’ve acknowledged
or
Only comments I haven't acknowledged
.
Managers can only filter by comments that they acknowledged but can view the number of acknowledgments for each comment.

Access

The
Acknowledge driver comments
,
Acknowledge value comments
, and
Acknowledge open-ended comments
permissions enable an access control group to acknowledge comments.

Metrics

It's possible to see statistics on acknowledgments in
