Create a New Driver Question

On any standard driver or subdriver, it's possible to add up to 5 custom questions. It's possible to add 15 questions per driver on the Company Questions set.
Adding a new question during a live round immediately adds it to the survey, if the question is active and part of an enabled question set.
When adding a new driver question, it will contribute to the overall aggregated score of the driver, which benchmarks to an external industry.
Having multiple active questions on a single driver or subdriver will affect participation on this question. Example: A monthly survey with a quarterly subdriver frequency means that the survey must ask 1 question from each subdriver per quarter. If a subdriver has 2 questions, it will take 2 quarters for each employee to receive all questions from this subdriver.
  1. Go to
    Administration
    Questions
    .
  2. Open the question set you need to add a new question to.
  3. Make sure that your context selection is correct. If you're in a segment context, the new question will use that segment as the overall target.
  4. Add the new question.
    Refer to our best practice guide for advice on formulating questions.
  5. Select the driver that the question should be part of.
  6. (Optional) Include the %s placeholder wherever the question should use the company name or a branded segment name.
  7. (Optional) Add any relevant translations. Without a translation in an available survey language, the question will display in the original language in surveys where a translation is missing.
  8. (Optional) Set target segments to the groups of employees that should receive this question.
If you make changes to questions during a live round, the changes will reflect immediately for employees who didn't yet answer the survey.
The new question is available immediately after you toggle it active. If you add active questions during a live round, employees that already opened the survey without completing it might still see the old version due to browser cache.
