- Access theFind Course Section Definitionsreport.You can use the facets to narrow the list of course sections.
- Select the course sections that you want to publish.
- ClickMass Publish Sections.If you selected fewer than 100 course sections, Workday applies the updates immediately.Otherwise, you can see the changes for course sections published within the last 7 days in theFind Course Section Definitionsreport after:
- 1 hour in your Production tenant.
- 6 hours in all other tenants.
You can also use thePut Published Course Sectionsweb service for immediate results.- How do I copy course sections across academic periods?
- To reduce manual effort, you can copy course sections from an academic period to a future academic period. You can only roll over specific course sections to the same academic period once.Prerequisite: Confirm the start and end dates for the academic period that you want to copy courses to.The start date of the academic period should be before the start date of the course section you're trying to copy.

- Enter theLast Availabledate.After this date, the course no longer displays in these reports:
- View Course Inventory.
- Find Course Offerings.
- Course Offerings.
You can't have course sections that start after theLast Availabledate.

- You can view course section rosters that have 1 or more registrations with aRegistration StatusofRegisteredorCompleted.

- Workday automatically detects scheduling conflicts between course sections that have overlapping date ranges, meeting patterns, and instructional locations. Access theCourse Section Conflicts by Academic Periodreport to find all conflicting activity offerings within an academic period.
- 1 way to resolve scheduling conflicts is by overlapping course sections. You can overlap course sections that have only 1 meeting pattern assigned to them.
- Access theFind Course Sections to Overlapreport.
- Select the course sections to overlap and clickManage Course Section Overlaps.
Once you complete the task, Workday displays the overlap status on the course section profile. - How do I resolve instructor scheduling conflicts?
- Workday automatically detects scheduling conflicts for instructors who have more than 1 course section occurring at the same time. To resolve instructor scheduling conflicts, change the instructor for 1 or more of the conflicting course sections.
